Justice Clarence Thomas- Pin Point Heritage Museum

Here’s a fact you may not know.  Justice Clarence Thomas was raised in a tiny, tucked away community on the banks of Moon River.  It is called Pin Point. It was founded 100 years ago by freed slaves after the American Civil War.  There is a museum, exhibits, movies, artifacts and photographs.
Our group had the opportunity to experience  -crabbing, shucking oysters, the Gullah language and much more. Currently, approx. 100 people live in this small community one 1/2 miles long by one mile wide.  If you get the chance to visit, you won’t be disappointed.
