Valeritas Holdings Inc., a medical-technology company that makes insulin patches, says the coronavirus epidemic is worsening its supply-chain problems, one of the factors triggering a bankruptcy filing that proposes a sale to Zealand Pharma A/S for $23 million.
The Bridgewater, N.J.-based company, which filed for chapter 11 Sunday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Del., had already been facing a supply disruption in China.
